Haribhau Khandekar (MA) is a senior academic leader and public institution administrator with over 37 years of experience in teaching, governance, and organisational management across higher education and social development sectors.

He has served as Professor and Head of Department at Government College, Kanpur, and as Governor’s Nominee and Executive Council Member for leading public universities including Lucknow University, Bundelkhand University, and Chaudhary Charan Singh University, contributing to strategic planning, academic quality, and institutional oversight.

Mr Khandekar has also held key leadership roles in child welfare and youth development, including Director of Bal Bhavan Kanpur (affiliated with National Bal Bhavan, New Delhi), General Secretary and Vice President of the District Council for Child Welfare, Kanpur, and senior executive positions across educational and social organisations.

With extensive experience in governance, programme management, and community institution building, he brings strong strategic direction, ethical leadership, and systems strengthening expertise to Ishya Healthcare Services, supporting its mission to deliver high-quality, people-centred healthcare services.
